The centre of Westerfield village (by the church) is ½ mile from the station. Westerfield is mostly served by trains to and from Felixstowe, note that these use the southern platform in both directions. The northern platform is used only by trains to Woodbridge and Lowestoft.

crenellated towers. An exhibition tells the story of the Castle. Wall-walk with spectacular views. Museum of local history.
