Southwell Minster is a cathedral in the picturesque market town of Southwell.
It has fine examples of Norman and early English architecture. Refectory. Admission free, donations welcome.
Open Daily 0830-1830 (1630 Sun) but check website for closures.

This rural workhouse was built in 1824 and is one of the best preserved in England. It was designed to house
about 160 inmates who lived and worked there. The adjacent Firbeck Infirmary was added in 1871. Café and picnic area.
Open Mar-Oct, WThFSSu (Daily in Aug) 1030-1600.
