Buckenham has a train service on Saturday and Sunday only, with the best service on Sunday. It is a request stop so you must tell the conductor in good time if you wish to alight and ensure you are clearly visible on the platform when your return train approaches.

Buckenham station is adjacent to Buckenham Marshes RSPB Reserve, this is open to the public and has a bird watching hide.

Strumpshaw Hall Steam Museum 1¼ miles

A large collection including working steam engines and mechanical organs. 1930s fairground carousel. ¾-mile narrow gauge railway. Annual Steam Engine Rally (see website for dates). Tel. 01603 714535.
