Royal Botanic Gardens (Kew Gardens) ½ mile to Elizabeth Gate

Lion Gate at the southern end of Royal Botanic Gardens (Kew Gardens) is ¾ mile from Richmond station.

Kew Palace (in Royal Botanic Gardens) ¾ mile

Built in 1631, this is the smallest of the royal palaces. It was used by members of the royal family from 1728 until the death of Queen Charlotte in 1818.
Kew Palace is in the Royal Botanic Gardens and cannot be visited separately.
