Jones's Mill Nature Reserve ½ mile

A reserve of wet woodland, ponds and wet grassland with natural springs and the River Avon. The wetland wildlife includes water voles, dragonflies and birds such as the kingfisher. Boardwalks are provided but paths may be muddy. Admission free. Tel. 01380 725670.

Marlborough by bus

Marlborough is a picturesque market town with a wide High Street lined with historic buildings. Markets are held in the High Street on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Bus X5/5 from near station and North Street to Marlborough High Street, 21 minutes journey. M-S hourly, X5 operated by Salisbury Reds. Sun & BH infrequent, 5 operated by Stagecoach. Buses also operate from Bedwyn.
