Lapworth station is in the hamlet of Kingswood, surrounded by attractive countryside. Lapworth village is about 2 miles away. The Grand Union Canal is ½ mile from the station.

Packwood House NT 1½ miles

A Tudor House restored at the beginning of the 20th century with 16th century textiles and furniture to create a warm and welcoming country house. Admission to the House is by timed ticket. The Garden includes colourful herbaceous borders, sculpted yews, orchard and lakeside walk. Kitchen Garden. Countryside walks. Café and picnic areas. Tel. 01564 782024.

Baddesley Clinton NT 1½ miles

A secluded estate which was the home of the Ferrers family for 500 years. Much of the moated manor house dates from the late 16th century. The gardens include fish pools, a walled garden and lakeside walk. Estate walks. Admission to the House is by timed ticket. Restaurant and picnic areas. Tel. 01564 783294.

Hay Wood 2 miles

Peaceful ancient woodland with a wide variety of wildlife including foxgloves, bluebells, birds and butterflies. Only ½ mile from Baddesley Clinton. Admission free.
