Wymondham Heritage Museum ½ mile

A museum of Wymondham's history in Britain's first model prison built in 1785. Two original cells can be seen. Displays include a re-created brush-making workshop which tells the story of the town's biggest industry. Tearoom. Tel. 01953 600205.

Wymondham Abbey ¾ mile

The Abbey was founded in 1107 and is unusual in having two towers. Tel. 01953 607062.
