Sir John Soane's Museum ¼ mile

The extraordinary former home and museum of Sir John Soane, neoclassical architect and art collector. The collections include antiquities, furniture, architectural models and drawings, as well as paintings, including works by Hogarth, Turner and Canaletto. Note that spaces inside are narrow so please see the website for restrictions on bags. Admission free.

Hunterian Museum ¼ mile

The Hunterian Museum is at the Royal College of Surgeons and houses the anatomy and pathology collections of the 18th century surgeon and anatomist John Hunter. Other exhibits include models, surgical instruments, paintings and sculptures.
Open closed for redevelopment until early 2023.
