Originally dug as a chalk mine in the 18th century the caves were largely forgotten until they were
opened as a Victorian tourist attraction. The caves contain several wall paintings. Café.

A series of underground rooms and passageways covered with shell mosaics. Its origin is a mystery,
although many believe it is a 2000-year-old temple. Café.
