A wetland nature reserve near the River Thames which was a military firing range for many years.
The marshes have been transformed into an important place for nature, particularly wetland birds.

Housed within an old magazine (gunpowder store), the Centre has a wide range of items relating
to the history of the magazines and the local area from the 18th century to the present day.
A large military collection covers the Army, Navy and Air Force. Tea bar with light refreshments.
