Wat Tyler Country Park 1 mile to Visitor Centre

Walks and trails, bird watching hides, wildlife garden, village green with old buildings rescued from elsewhere in Essex, displays on Basildon's history in the Green Centre, adventure play area, miniature railway (summer weekends and school holidays). Visitor Centre with exhibition and café.
