Frant station is in the small village of Bells Yew Green, the larger village of Frant is 1¼ miles away to the west.

Bus 256 from opposite station exit (no marked stop) to the entrance drive, as for Scotney Castle but only 5 minutes journey.
There is no marked bus stop at the entrance (on the left), watch for the EH and 'Welcome to Kent' signs.
The moated Old Scotney Castle was partly demolished to leave a romantic folly as the centrepiece of the
picturesque garden. Rhododendrons, azaleas and autumn colour. The Victorian mansion which replaced the old
castle is also open. Estate walks. Tearoom.
