Bishop Auckland is a market town with several attractions co-ordinated by the Auckland Project, a regeneration charity working to transform Bishop Auckland into a cultural destination. A good place to start your visit is the Auckland Tower which is also an information centre. Bishop Auckland Bus Station is ¾ mile from the Railway Station.
