Port Eliot has the rare distinction of being a Grade 1 listed house with a
Grade 1 listed park and garden. Originally built as a priory with adjoining
St Germans Priory Church parts of the house date from the 12th century.
It was remodelled in the 17th and 18th centuries by architects including
Sir John Soane. The landscaped park was laid out by Humphry Repton in the 1790s. Tearoom.
