Public transport in Cornwall:

Liskeard is an ancient market town with some shops retaining their original Victorian shop fronts and interiors. Liskeard is the junction for the branch line to Looe, note the unusual arrangement where the platform for Looe is separate from the main station. Liskeard is pronounced 'Liskard'.

The history of the area from Mesolithic settlers to the present day including local mining and agriculture. Rock and mineral specimens, mining tools, social history, military history.

Stuart House Barras Street, ¾ mile

A late medieval town house which has been restored and is now used as an arts and heritage centre. 17th century garden. Exhibitions and events programme.
