The remote station of Berney Arms was named after the local pub (now closed). There is no access by road.
The Weavers' Way LDP passes Berney Arms station and you can follow this path along the northern edge of
Breydon Water to Great Yarmouth (5½ miles station to station). The good views across the mudflats of
Breydon Water provide ample opportunity for bird-watching.
Berney Arms has a limited daily train service with more trains on Sunday.
It is a request stop so you must tell the conductor in good time if you wish to alight and
ensure you are clearly visible on the platform when your return train approaches.
