Otford is a village with many historic buildings including remains of the Bishop's Palace.
The grassland and woodland of Oxenhill Shaw (¼ mile) are managed to encourage wildlife.
The area is popular for walking with many footpaths, including the North Downs Way and the Darent Valley Path.
It is about 2 miles from Otford station to Shoreham by footpath and there
are good views if you climb up the North Downs Way north east from Otford station.
A scale model of our Solar System built as part of Otford's Millenium celebrations.
The Sun is represented by a 303mm diameter dome and each planet by a scale engraving on a flat disc
in its scale position at midnight on 1 January 2000. Note that Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are at the
west end of the village!
Open at all times.
