Otford is a village with many historic buildings including remains of the Bishop's Palace.
The grassland and woodland of Oxenhill Shaw (¼ mile) are managed to encourage wildlife.
The area is popular for walking with many footpaths, including the North Downs Way and the Darent Valley Path.
It is about 2 miles from Otford station to Shoreham by footpath and there
are good views if you climb up the North Downs Way north east from Otford station.
