Mount Caburn National Nature Reserve 1¼ miles

A chalk downland nature reserve supporting many wildflowers including orchids, and associated insects such as rare butterflies. There is a Bronze Age hill fort at the top of Mount Caburn with panoramic views of the South Downs and Ouse Valley.
