The peaceful village of Moreton is 1½ miles from Moreton Station. Take care walking the first ½ mile as there's no path along this fast road - use the verge where possible. Moreton's St Nicholas Church has unusual engraved glass windows by Laurence Whistler. TE Lawrence 'Lawrence of Arabia' lived nearby at Clouds Hill (see below) is buried in the cemetery near the church.
The Lawrence of Arabia Trail runs from Moreton village to Clouds Hill and the Tank Museum at Bovington (see Wool station).
The Walled Garden is a 5 acre landscaped garden, features include colourful borders, roses,
a woodland walk, a bog garden and a kitchen garden. Café. Admission free.
Open Daily 0900-1630.

Clouds Hill is the tiny woodman's cottage lived in by TE Lawrence while he was a private in the army at nearby
Bovington Camp and after he abandoned the 'Lawrence of Arabia' persona. He designed much of the furniture and fittings.
