Dawlish Warren National Nature Reserve ½ mile to Visitor Centre
Much of the sand spit at Dawlish Warren is a nature reserve. The dunes, grassland, ponds, saltmarsh
and mudflats support a wide range of wildlife. The Warren is an important roost for wildfowl and wading
birds of the Exe Estuary. Visitor Centre and bird-watching hide.
Open Visitor Centre SSu (also WThF Apr-Aug) 1400-1600. Reserve open at all times.
