Docwra's Manor Garden ¼ mile

An old farmyard converted into a garden oasis with a series of enclosures.
Open Wed & Fri 1000-1600, also first Sun of month 1400-1600.

Fowlmere Nature Reserve RSPB 2 miles

A wildlife oasis of reedbeds, hawthorn scrub, open water, damp woodland and chalk grassland in an area of intensive farming. Birds include kingfisher, water rail, warblers and corn buntings. Bird-watching hides and 1¾ mile nature trail. Picnic area. Admission free, donations welcome.

Wimpole Estate NT 5 miles

There's a great deal to see and do at Wimpole with the Hall's impressive Georgian interiors and more intimate rooms, basement tours, a Walled Kitchen Garden, large Park and the Home Farm with daily farm activities. Restaurant and cafés.
Open Apr-Oct, Daily 1030-1600 (Hall 1200-1500). Nov-mid Feb, see website. Park open daily all year.
